The NeuProDB v1.0 database contains 163 manually curated genes/proteins derived from prior automated text-mining, 139 of which were confirmed to have neurotrophic- and/or protective functions. The "View data online"-table accessible below shows a summary of the articles providing in-vitro and/or in-vivo experimental evidence supporting trophic or protective functions, as well as their condition-specificity, with hyperlinks to the original articles and up to two key supporting sentences from the original article for each effect type (clicking with the mouse on the "supporting sentence" links will show the full sentences).
